Tourist Visas

A tourist visa allows you to visit a country for a holiday.

Whatever type of vacation you want this will normally be the visa you will be issued.

This by far the most common visa on the planet.

Whenever anyone goes on holiday to another country then depending upon their nationality they will need or be issued with a tourist visa.

This is one way for the governments to know how many people visit their country and from what destinations.

This helps them with their marketing campaigns.

Tourist visas are issued from anywhere from a few days up to 90 days.

Tourist visas to the vast majority of countries and islands on the planet are issued free of charge or for a fee upon arrival in the country. This is true for many nationalities but not for all.

Generally the requirements for a tourist visa are the same everywhere in the world.

The requirements are:

Confirmed return or onward flight tickets.

Confirmed hotel accommodation for the duration of your stay.

Sufficient money to pay for your stay in the country (this varies greatly depending upon which countries you are visiting and to a lesser degree your nationality)

Certain countries the following requirements are mandatory but it is not in all countries.
