A business
visa is a visa that allows you to conduct business in a country and is
generally multiple entries.
That is
the basic standard description.
In many
countries a business visa will also allow you to work. There is a degree of
confusion between the differences between a work and business visa.
We will
try and explain as simply and clearly as we can,
A work
visa specifically allows you to work in a country (it is one of the harder
visas to get).
Almost all
countries require that you get a work visa if you are a non native of the
country that you wish to work.
However,
depending upon which country you will be working it is often possible to
work using a business visa.
The
advantage of doing it this way is that it is a lot easier getting business
visas then work visas.
The
requirements for a business visa generally are as follows:
An
invitation from whomever you will be visiting.
A list of
the scheduled meetings that you will be having in country (especially if you
will be meeting with government officials)
Roundtrip
flight tickets.
Hotel
accommodation confirmed.
